  1. Auto Controlled Sector
    at a non-distress beacon. The Long-Range Scanners will detect no ship presence. Classified as a NEUTRAL_CONSTRUCTION type beacon under the title CE_SHOOTING_RANGE.

The jump brought you close to an open space shooting range, where automated ships can be tested and calibrated. Captured Federation bombers have been lined up on the horizon for target practice.

  • Hone your crews skills by engaging one of the dummy ship.
    • You tell your crew to treat this ship like an actual opponent. Combat stations!
      • Continue... (and activate any combat augments)
        • (After destroying enemy ship) The decommissioned ship hull breaks apart. You totally wrecked this defenseless, imobile dummy.
    • A Rebel scout was lying dormant nearby, impossible to identify so close to all the other ship signatures. What was planned as a combat exercise turns into a real ship-to-ship battle.
  • Remain near the beacon and wait for the FTL to charge.
    • All remains quiet till you jump.
